The HC8000 wire closer has a 14" legal size capacity and closes twin loop wire from 3/16" to 1 1/4" thick. A wire closer is needed when your wire binding machine only punches. Having 2 separate machines (one for punching & one for binding) greatly increases your production time. This wire closer works great for creating notebooks and professonal looking reports.
